Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. (Matthew 5:9)
What does peacemaker mean, peacemaker is someone who reconciles people to God and to one another. Lord Jesus is called the Prince of Peace, He brings peace to the people. Lord Jesus is the Son of God. He reconciles people to God. The Lord also gives us his disciples the mission to be a peacemaker, to reconcile people to God , to bring people to God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God, their lives resemble the life of Lord Jesus.
Lord Jesus is the peacemaker. Lord Jesus wants us to live in harmony with one another and love one another. Satan wants to divide brothers and sisters and families. When Lord Jesus returns, the devil will be bound for a thousand years. In the millennium, there will be peace on earth, even peace between human being and animals.
We must learn from the example of Lord Jesus and be a peacemaker. In this way, we will be blessed and will be called children of God.
