Salvation is found in no one else

Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
Earlier apostle Peter healed a lame man in Jesus’ name. Jesus was crucified, God raised him from the dead.  Here Peter says that “Salvation is found in no one else”, salvation is found only in Jesus’ name. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we can be saved. Only by the name of Jesus, we can be saved. Jesus’s name has power, Jesus’s name has authority.  In  Jesus’ name, people are healed, in Jesus’ name, demons are cast out. In Jesus’ name, people are saved.

The Faith of the Centurion

Matthew 8:5-13 5 When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. 6 “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.”7 Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?” 8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” 10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. 11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” 13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment.

Why did Lord Jesus praise the centurion’s faith?
1. He perceiced Jesus’s authority, He believed that Jesus just said a word and his servant would be healed.
2. His humility, he felt not worthy for Lord Jesus to come to his place.
3. His love,  he was a Gentile,  yet he loved Jewish people and built their synagogue as we see in
Luke 7:5 because he loves our nation and has built our synagogue.
4. His cared for his servant,  he was a man with authority, yet he cared for his servant, wanted Lord Jesus to heal his servant.

Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway

Proverbs 8:34 Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.

Here it says that blessed are those who obey God’s command, waiting daily before Him. Bleessed are those who read the Bible, read the word of God and put them into practise.

Everyday, the first thing we should do is reading and Bible and prayer, then commit our daily matter to the Lord, ask for His leading, for His help, you will find yourself more efficient.

God allowed coronavirus, wants us to spend more time to seek after Him, know Him,   spend more time with God and spend less time with people. God’s love wants all men to come to Him, to draw close to Him.

From the spread of coronavirus, we also see that life is transient, we should grasp the opportunity to know the Lord in our life time.

Bible on believe

James 2:19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. The demons also believe, but don’t obey God.

Hebrews 5:9 and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him. Here him refers to Lord Jesus.

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.  Here me refers to Lord Jesus too. Here we see that saving faith includes obedience.

Luke 11:28 He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

This is my experience, it is my desire to love the Lord, to be obedient to Him, to seek Him, to pray and draw near to Him, I experience His presence. I constantly do His will . I also experience His leading, the Lord led me to pray for the sickness of people, so far there are some healings after prayer. Thanks the Lord , glory to His name.🙏😊

Blessed are those who obey

Luke 11:28 Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.
Here we see that the Lord will bless those who obey. This is my experience too. In 2017 the Lord led me to share gospel to my high school classmates using WeChat. I obeyed. Not long later the Lord led me to pray for the sickness of people, one of my high school classmate had lower back pain,  I prayed for him and the next day he told me that his lower back pain was healed, up to now some healings took place, some complete healing, some partial healing. Thanks the Lord, glory to His name.

John 14:21 21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Here we see that those who obey, those who love the Lord will be loved by the Father and the Son, and the Lord will manifests to them. This is my experience too. It is always my desire to love the Lord, to obey Him, to do His will, to pray, to draw near to Him, to seek His face.  I experience the Lord to be presence with me, to be close to me and manifests himself to me. Thanks the Lord.

John 15:7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
The Lord answer prayers of those who obey, those who love the Lord, those who abide in Him.

Pain in body healed after prayer

Recently a brother told me that he has pain in his body. He has the pain for two weeks and he asked me to pray for him. I prayed for him from time to time, I asked him today whether there is any improvement, he told me that it is much better. Thanks for Lord, glory to his name.😊
If anyone has sickness or pain, please let me know, I will pray for you, ask the Lord to heal you. 🙏😊
The following is the Bible promise.

Mark 16:17-18 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Take delight in the LORD

Psalm 37:4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

What does it mean “Take delight in the LORD”? “Take delight in the LORD” means to exalt Him so highly that we seek after Him above any other person,  any things, thoughts, or actions in our lives, especially those things that would knock Him out of first place. In other words we always put Him first.

It is always my desire to seek after Him, to draw near to Him. In 2017 the Lord led me to share the gospel to my high school classmates using wechat and build a gospel site to share the gospel.

I put the Lord and His work first, the Lord helps me in my computer work, helps me to pass my English exam and even inspires me to pray for the sickness of other people for healing and they get healed.  There were many times the Lord help me to solve computer problems,  one time one of my colleague asked me to solve a computer problem, right after the solution, I was thinking to go to my colleague office to tell him, and he came to my office instead,  it was the right timing. In 2018, I had to take an English exam. the passing mark for both written and oral are 65%. I got 67.5% for my written, 86% for my oral. It is by Lord’s grace, I could pass the exam, so don’t have to spend time preparing again,  so that I can spend more time in prayer and Lord’s work.

Amazingly the Lord also inspired me to pray for people’s sickness.  I prayed for different people for their sickness, some got healed very fast, some after some time, some got complete healings, some got partial healings. the Lord also reminded me chasing after Him, not after miracles. If we chase after Him, then the miracles will accompany us. Thanks the Lord, glory to His name.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you

James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands,  you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Here it says that if we draw near to God, and He will draw near to us. If we take the initiative to spend time drawing near to God, He will draw near to us. Sinners should confess their sins and repent, and those who are double-minded between God and the world should purify their hearts. We should do our best spending less time in the world and spend more time drawing near to God, and God will draw near to us and we will experience His presence.

Jesus and the miraculous catch of 153 Fish

John 21:1-14 Afterward Jesus appeared again to his disciples, by the Sea of Galilee. It happened this way: Simon Peter, Thomas (also known as Didymus), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together. “I’m going out to fish,” Simon Peter told them, and they said, “We’ll go with you.” So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing. Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus. He called out to them, “Friends, haven’t you any fish?” “No,” they answered. He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish. Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” As soon as Simon Peter heard him say, “It is the Lord,” he wrapped his outer garment around him (for he had taken it off) and jumped into the water. The other disciples followed in the boat, towing the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards.[c] When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and some bread. Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish you have just caught.” So Simon Peter climbed back into the boat and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn. Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” None of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord. Jesus came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish. This was now the third time Jesus appeared to his disciples after he was raised from the dead.

Today I would like to talk about the number 153, 153 fish Peter and other disciples catch.  In 2017 the Lord led me to share gospel to my high school classmates wechat chat group. The total number of people in the chat group now is 151, very close to number 153, once it reached 153 for some time, even 154 for a while, later I guess a couple of people left the chat group, sometimes new people join in. Now I do gospel posting twice a week, I post hymns, testimonies, messages, etc. the Lord led me know the importance of posting songs, so I post song every time I post something else.  the Lord also led me know the importance of sharing the gospel on the internet and encourages more people to share gospel on the internet.

Before I prepared this sharing, I had a idea to count other people I share gospel to in wechat. Right now I have 88 people in my friend circle, I also share gospel to other chat groups, such as university group,  Concordia university group, etc. I counted all the people, it is 152 people.  Among 152 people, there are a few repeats,  becasue a few people in my friend’s circle, also in chat group, in total, there are less that 152 people, but it is interesting, it is also close to number 153.

If I can reach any people, it is by God’s grace, as 153 fish disciples catched are from the Lord.  I would like to give all glory to the Lord, hope by the Lord’s grace to reach more people, catch more fish for the Lord.

May God bless everyone.

Put the Lord first

Mark 1:35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

Here we see that Lord Jesus in the early morning went to a lonly place to pray. Lord Jesus gave us an example, we should also do the same, the first thing we need to do every morning is to pray, draw near to God, seek God, seek His face, seek His preserence.

Luke 10:38-42 As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!” “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

Here we see that Mary sits at the Lord’s feet listening to the Lord’s word while martha distracted, worried and upset about many things, the Lord says that Mary has chosen the good part.  Besides praying and drawing near to God in the moring, we should also do so in the evening. I also find myself that if we put the Lord first,  put prayer and drawing near to the Lord first, the Lord will take care the rest and our life will be more productive, as we know that He is the vine, we are the branches, we need to totally depend on Him in order to bear fruit.
