Parable of the Sower

1That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Whoever has ears, let them hear.” (Matthew 13:1-9)
Here the Lord Jesus taught the parable of the Sower. The seed represent the word of God, and the soil represents the heart of man. The seeds were sown on four different kinds of soils, representing four different kinds of responses to the word of God. The seed sown on the roadside are eaten up by birds, this means that people hear the word of God but do not understand it, and the evil one, the devil comes and takes away the seed sown in their hearts. The seed sown on rocky places are those who hear the word and immediately receive it with joy, but they have no root in themselves and are only temporary. But when the sun came up, the sun represents trouble or persecution, that is when trouble or persecution occurs because of the word, they immediately fall away. The seed sown among thorns are those who hear the word, but then the worries of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful. The seed sown on good ground are those who hear the word and understand it. They bear fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, and some thirtyfold.

All believers belong to the same family

46 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. 47 Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.” 48 He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” (Matthew 12:46-50)
Here we see that when the Lord Jesus was talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside and wanted to talk to him. The Lord Jesus said: “Who is my mother and who are my brothers? For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” Anyone who does the will of the Heavenly Father is a child of the Heavenly Father, so they are brothers and sisters of the Lord Jesus. Here the Lord Jesus is not to deny the family relationship between Him and His mother and brothers. On the contrary, the Lord Jesus used the picture of family relationship to give people a breakthrough. What the Lord Jesus preached here was a new idea that transcended the concepts of family. This idea brings people into a broader interpersonal relationship. This new interpersonal relationship is not based on blood relations, but on a common belief. Ordinary family relationships have the limitation of protecting the inside and excluding the outsiders. What Jesus preached was a big family without boundaries – the family of God. To become a member of this big family, you only need to meet one condition: you must do God’s will. As Jesus said, anyone who does the will of God is my brother, sister and mother. This concept brings great gospel message to people. It allows anyone who believes in God to establish a spiritual family relationship with Jesus and all believers.
May God bless you and your family! 🙏😊

Shingles got healed after prayer

One sister told me that another sister had shingles for almost three weeks. She had seen a doctor more than two weeks ago and taken medicine, many small herpes were scarred, but the pain was still there, and now there was neuropathic pain which was as unbearable as an electric shock, she asked me to pray for her. After praying for her for some time, I asked her if she was better. She told me that the sister said that the pain was gone a long time ago, later it was mainly uncomfortable itchiness, now it was much better. She hoped that the skin color would recover soon, thank the Lord.

I am the vine- new song

I am the vine

I am the vine;
you are the branches.
If you abide in me and I in you,
you will bear much fruit;
apart from me you can do nothing.

Abide in Me
and I in you.
As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself
unless it abides In the vine
so neither can you unless you abide in me.

Thank the Lord, glory to Him.

Let us love one another- new song

Let us love one another

Let us love one another,
for love comes from God.
Everyone who loves
has been born of God
and knows God.
Whoever does not love
does not know God,
because God is love.

Thank the Lord, glory to Him.
